Punggol Waterway On 16th June 2013

So in the midst of clearing all my overdue photos, I realised I missed out a bunch of beautiful photos from the day we visited the Waterway @ Punggol. So here they are, capturing many fun filled moments I had with my relatives that evening.

And while we were there, I found this really nice pushcart with a rainbow windmill creating the setting for some of my favourite shots that evening.

The Day We Made Our Own Planes

After a really busy second half of 2013, I finally got down to sorting out all the photos I have.

First up! The day we made our own planes and watch them take flight. Its always exciting to do something for the first time and this being our first time building an wooden aeroplane, we were all full of anticipation. The session started with us cutting wooden boards into various shapes which would then become various parts of our planes. Then it was a really messy glueing session followed by the chance to design the colours of our very own airlines. Soon, we got all our planes dressed up in the many different colours, anxiously waiting for the chance to see them fly. Although the setting was nothing glamorous to boast about, watching all our planes take flight made it such an exciting event. Guess thats more then enough words. Time for me to let the photos do the talking. :)

Trip to Art Science Museum :)

After a really really long wait, we are finally on our way to the LEGO exhibition @ MBS Art Science Museum.

The Art Science Museum never fails to amaze me and this LEGO exhibition was no exception. The walk through the exhibition felt as if the clock has been turned backwards to when I was still a young boy piecing together these tiny bricks to form the image in my imagination.

This was followed by a walk back into the time of the Egyptians and their Mummys. This exhibition started with a really wonderful 3D video, taking us through the forensic investigation of a Mummy and ended with the display of real Mummy specimens and the amazing story each of these Mummys carry with them.

Night Shoot @ Marina Barrage And Gardens By The Bay

This night shoot brought us to the Marina Barrage and Gardens By The Bay.

The night was peppered with many unplanned events, starting with a satay feast at Satay By The Bay. Our first time feasting exclusively on Satay! We were then caught in the midst of a search for a lost child. Thankfully, the child was found soon after. Afterwhich, we took a stroll down the river and found ourselves in Gardens By The Bay, with the Singapore Flyer in full view. So snap snap snap we went! The night ended with 4 cats posing elegantly for us on top of a huge rock, Lion King style.
